While news of the verification of Hilda Baci’s famous cook-a-thon challenge by the GWR grabbed the nation’s attention, it has inspired more Nigerians than ever.
A lot of young Nigerians who were inspired to break came out publicly to declare their intention to break one record or the other.
Quite surprisingly, this wave of inspiration did not just affect regular people, as even Nigerian celebrities have also shown interest in breaking one record or the other.

Nigerian celebrities attempt to break world Records after Hilda’s victory
Here’s the list of this supposed Guinness World Record attempts by Nigerian celebrities:
1. Chef Damilola Adeparusi
The Ekiti based chef has been trending online recently after her attempt to break Hilda Baci’s 100 hours cooking record caught the nation’s attention.Â
Currently, Chef Dami has exceeded Hilda Baci’s 100 hours though there are speculations that she did not meet all the required stipulations by Guinness World Record.
2. Woli Arole – (Pray-a-thon)
Famous skit maker and evangelist Woli Arole took to social media to announce his plan to break a record for the longest prayer session to be entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
In as much as he has not announced the commencement date for the prayer session, he disclosed that he intended to pray for as long as 5000 hours which is up to at least 208 days.
3. Mr Macaroni – (Freak-a-thon)
Famous comic actor and media personality, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni also disclosed his intention to attempt to break the most extended hour chasing freakies.
He expressed his interest in breaking a Guinness record on June 13 with a post on his social media page revealing that Hilda Baci inspired his challenge.
4. Jide Awobona
Famous Yoruba star in a post shared on his Insta-story, declared his interest to challenge Hilda Baci’s longest cooking marathon record. His target is to hit 250 hours making it twice Hilda’s record.
5. Adebiyi Israel
A Nigerian man set to embark on a Guinness World Record for the longest movie-watching marathon. Israel revealed online that he is set to break the record for the most extended hours spent watching movies.
