A massive stir has been caused online after a car that depends on petrol was converted to now use gas.
It isn’t news that cars use petrol, however, ever since the fuel subsidy fiasco, many Nigerians have begun exploring other initiatives to avoid the use of petrol for their cars.
Recall that Battabox reported that Innoson Motors invented a new brand of vehicle using gas.

Well, another company has decided to not just invent but also convert cars that use petrol to gas.
In a video that was posted by a TikTok user, @daddymickeylove, the man showed how a car was converted to run on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), instead of the PMS (Petroleum Motor Spirit.)
The innovative idea however had many complaining about the dangers when it was revealed that the gas cylinder was placed at the boot.
Many netizens raised concerns that if the car hits something, it could explode, a man stated that the gas must be well-insulated and protected against heat explosion.

Nigerians praise Innoson Motors as they reveal gas-powered vehicles
Meanwhile, Innoson Motors, a Nigerian automobile manufacturer has unveiled new vehicles that use Gas instead of diesel or petrol.
In an official statement released on the company’s Facebook account, it was shared that the decision regarding the innovation was because of the current fuel subsidy in Nigeria.
Innoson Motors showcased the vehicles at their factory in Anambra state, Nnewi, and the commissioner for Industry of the state, Mr Christian Udechukwu was present as he represented the governor where he talked about the subsidy.
