Requirements for the Scholarship

Here is a list of the requirements for the Bauchi State Scholarship:

• The first thing required to qualify for the scholarship scheme is that you must be an indigene of Bauchi State.
• You must be a student of an approved higher institution.
• Your grades must be excellent
• Students in tertiary Institutions are all required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.0. tertiary institutions like universities, polytechnics etc.

• You will provide your First School Living Certificate (FSLC).

How to Apply for the Bauchi State Scholarship

• Visit their website at bauchistate.gov.ng
• You will create an application account once you get there
• Fill out the form with your name and email address in the specified field
• For security and safety, choose your suitable password, and then confirm it. Make sure you can easily remember the password
• Enter your mobile number in the given field
• Select your gender, if you are a male or female
• Once you are done with all of these, you then click the sign-up button to move to the next phase of the application
• An email will be sent to you through the one you provided; it will contain a confirmation link. Go to your email and confirm the link
• Move on to log in with the details you provided
• Carefully fill out the application form, and then submit it

NOTE: Make sure that your biometrics is properly captured in the course of your registration. If your biometrics fail, your application will not qualify for the scholarship. Your biometrics is a way of confirming your identity. Also, you need to attach scanned copies of these original documents:

• Local Government/ Statement of Origin
• GCE/SSCE Certificate will be attached
• An admission letter into one of the institutions around and information on your course of study. The year of admission and the period/ time of your study will also be included.
