Funke is one of Nigeria’s favorites, a multiple award-winning actress and film producer. She was married to a Lagos politician, Kehinde Oloyede, but separated due to several reasons.
Fans rejoiced to find out that Funke got another shot at love when she met Abdulrasheed Bello, Nigerian songwriter, and rapper, popularly called “JJC Skillz”. The couple soon welcomed two children together.
However, Nigeria was shocked when JJC Skillz announced their separation via an Instagram post.
“Dear Friends and family, I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted, we shared many things and created two beautiful children,” JJC Skillz said. The last two years have been tough for us. I have tried my best to fix things, but I believe it is beyond repair now.”

Basketmouth and Elsie
Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha “Basketmouth” and his wife Elsie joined the list of popular Nigerian celebrities with failed marriages late last year. The couple met in 2003 and were married for twelve years with three children before it ended.
The comedian took to Instagram to announce the separation and asked for privacy while dealing with the situation.

Korra Obidi and Justin Dean
Beautiful Korra Obidi is a talented Nigerian dancer and model. She and American chiropractor, Dr. Justin Dean met in China on the dating site Tinder before getting married in 2018.
Unfortunately, this beautiful marriage lasted just four years, and a lot of people were caught off-guard when Dean announced that he was leaving her in March 2022. Since then, a lot of allegations surfaced, especially from Justin, who claimed that Korra had verbally abused him and the child.

Popular broadcast journalist, comedian, and podcaster, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel aka Nedu married Uzoamaka Ohiri in 2013. However, their marriage crashed in 2018.
In 2021, she called out her ex-husband for domestic violence and for also hitting her a few weeks after she gave birth to a child via caesarian section. Nedu disclaimed these allegations and mentioned that their first son does not belong to him.
